Mithrandir + Outlook Calendar
Connecting Outlook Calendar gives every AI agent your company uses the meetings behind its decisions: when they happened and who was in them. Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and Cursor connect a meeting to its Teams or Zoom transcript. Each person sees only the events Outlook already shows them, private events included.
What it reads
What Mithrandir reads from Outlook Calendar
- Events from a month back to three months ahead, recurring meetings included
- Subject, times, organizer and attendees
- The link between a meeting and its Teams or Zoom transcript
Access
The access rules that carry over
- An event reaches its organizer and its attendees, including the members of an invited group.
- A private event is shown the same way Outlook shows it: to the people in it.
- Descriptions and join links are not kept.
Setup
Set up in three steps
- 1
Your Microsoft 365 admin approves one read-only Mithrandir application for the company.
- 2
Every member's calendar comes in, with no step for each person.
- 3
People ask from the agent they already use and get answers about the meetings they were part of.
Examples
What your agents can now answer
- “When did we last meet this supplier, and who joined?”
- “Which meetings did the deal team hold before the term sheet?”
- “What was decided in the last meeting I missed?”
Questions
Outlook Calendar and Mithrandir, answered
- Are meeting descriptions read?
- No. Subject, times, organizer and attendees are kept. The description and the join link are not.
- Does it connect meetings to their transcripts?
- Yes. A Teams or Zoom meeting is joined to its transcript, so an agent can answer what was said and who was there.
- Does Mithrandir create or change events?
- No. Calendar access is read-only.
