Mithrandir + Notion

Connecting Notion gives every AI agent your company uses the plans, wikis and notes your teams keep in their teamspaces. Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and Cursor answer with the page behind them. Each person sees pages through the teamspaces they belong to and your company's own hierarchy, never more than Notion allows.

What it reads

What Mithrandir reads from Notion

  • Pages in the teamspaces you choose
  • Each page's place in its teamspace
  • Who wrote each page, and when it last changed

Access

The access rules that carry over

  • Members of a teamspace see its pages, within the limits your company's hierarchy sets.
  • Someone removed from a teamspace loses its pages on the next update.
  • Notion does not share per-page sharing with outside apps, so your company's hierarchy decides the rest, never wider than Notion.

Setup

Set up in three steps

  1. 1

Your Notion admin creates one read-only integration and adds it to the teamspaces you choose.

  2. 2

Your pages come in, and changes follow from then on.

  3. 3

People ask from the agent they already use and get answers from the pages their teamspaces hold.

Examples

What your agents can now answer

  • “What is our current process for handing a new customer to support?”
  • “Which goals did the operations team set for this quarter?”
  • “Where did we document the decision on the new office lease?”

Questions

Notion and Mithrandir, answered

Does Notion's page sharing carry over?
Notion does not give outside apps a page's sharing list. Pages follow teamspace membership and your company's hierarchy, so nobody sees a page Notion would not show them.
Can we pick which teamspaces are included?
Yes. The integration reads only the teamspaces you add it to.
Does Mithrandir edit pages?
No. Notion access is read-only.
