Connecting Google Drive gives every AI agent your company uses the documents, decks and plans your company wrote down. Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and Cursor answer with the file and the passage behind them. Each person sees only the files Drive already shares with them, file by file.

Access
The access rules that carry over
- A file is seen by the people and groups it is shared with, file by file, even inside a shared drive.
- A file shared with the whole company and findable in search reaches everyone at the company.
- A file shared by link only reaches its owner and the people it names. Holding the link is not enough.
- A suspended or deleted account sees nothing.

- Is every file in My Drive included?
- Yes, and each one is seen only by the people Drive shares it with. A file nobody shared stays with its owner.
- Are spreadsheet numbers stored?
- No. A sheet is read by its structure: tab names, headers and comments. Cell values are never stored.
- Does Mithrandir change files in Drive?
- No. Drive access is read-only.
