Mithrandir + Google Calendar
Connecting Google Calendar gives every AI agent your company uses the meetings behind its decisions: when they happened, who was invited, who said yes. Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and Cursor connect a meeting to its transcript and notes. Each person sees only the events Google Calendar already shows them.
What it reads
What Mithrandir reads from Google Calendar
- Events from a month back to three months ahead, recurring meetings included
- Title, times, organizer, guests and their answers
- The link between a meeting and its Meet or Zoom transcript
Access
The access rules that carry over
- An event reaches its organizer and its guests, including the members of an invited group.
- Descriptions and join links are not kept.
- A suspended or deleted account loses its events.
Setup
Set up in three steps
- 1
Your Google Workspace admin grants Mithrandir read-only calendar access for the company, once.
- 2
Every member's calendar comes in, with no step for each person.
- 3
People ask from the agent they already use and get answers about the meetings they were part of.
Examples
What your agents can now answer
- “When did we last meet this customer, and who was there?”
- “Who attended the planning meetings for the launch?”
- “What came out of my last three meetings with finance?”
Questions
Google Calendar and Mithrandir, answered
- Are meeting descriptions read?
- No. Title, times, organizer and guests are kept. The description and the join link are not.
- Does it connect meetings to their transcripts?
- Yes. A Google Meet or Zoom meeting is joined to its transcript, so an agent can answer what was said and who was there.
- Does Mithrandir create or change events?
- No. Calendar access is read-only.
